๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณThe complete China watch-list

449 curated videos. One plan before you go.

China’s library here runs to 449 videos from 332 distinct channels. The shape of that collection is itself the first finding: 212 of them sit in Nature and 147 in Itinerary, while Street Food accounts for 13 and Cuisine 9. Creators filming China overwhelmingly film landscape and route planning, not meals โ€” the opposite of the balance in Taiwan or Hong Kong.

China

A separate food-lane pull over the same corpus โ€” eight intent queries, 127 videos after a three-chunk-per-video diversity cap, joined to 101 distinct channels โ€” gives the food picture in numbers. Shanghai is named by 37 of those creators and Beijing by 37, an even split rather than the single-city gravity that shows up elsewhere. Sichuan or mala heat appears in 32, hot pot in 24, street-food stalls in 23 and dumplings in 22.

Two dishes people expect to dominate do not clear the reporting floor: Peking duck appears for six creators and hand-pulled noodles for six. Neither is claimed here, because a count that low is indistinguishable from noise in a pull this size.

Everything above is a count over the videos in this library and that pull. It is not a census of Chinese travel content, and nobody involved is reporting from the ground โ€” no taste, price or queue length is claimed. What the numbers support is where creators go and what they mention, which is a different and more checkable question.
